Paws and Learn (A Visit with HAWS)
$50/visit | All grades
Invite a HAWS humane educator to spend an engaging hour with your students, sharing the mission of HAWS and educating them about the important work we do to support animals and the community. This interactive visit helps students understand animal welfare and advocacy in a meaningful way.
To make the experience even more memorable, an animal ambassador can join the visit upon request—giving students a chance to meet and connect with a friendly animal.
Please note: This program can often times be catered towards a specific subject for your classroom. Please let us know in advance if there is a topic you would like covered (dog body language, animal safety, etc)!
Highlights:
- Meet HAWS: A humane educator from HAWS visits your classroom to share our mission and the many ways we help animals and people in the community.
- Community Connection: Students learn how HAWS advocates for animals, supports pet owners, and makes a difference in the community.
- Inspires Compassion and Awareness: Encourages students to think about how they can help animals and support their community.
- Optional Animal Ambassador Visit: By request, a friendly animal ambassador can join the visit to engage and inspire your students.
