Horseback Riding Badge
Girl Scout Juniors
Join us for a half day of fun and adventure as we dive into the world of horseback riding! In this hands-on program, Girl Scouts will learn the basics of horseback riding and how to care for a horse. From grooming , leading, and riding, girls will gain confidence and skills in the saddle. Whether it's your first time around horses or you’re looking to build on what you know, this half-day experience (morning and afternoon offering) offers the perfect introduction to horsemanship in a safe, supportive environment. Maximum of 12 scouts per session.
To prevent direct threats to the health and safety of the individuals who ride and care for our horses, and for the safety of our horses, for those participating in the riding portion of our program, the weight limit for participants is 220 pounds based on standards accepted by the Certified Horsemanship Association (no more than 20% of the horses body weight).
Please select the item quantity to reflect the number of scouts participating.
