Date & Time

Sunday, August 31 - October 26

Is your dog reactive to triggers like other dogs, people, or noises? Our Reactive Rover class is designed to help you understand and manage reactive behaviors, such as barking, lunging, and growling. Whether fear, anxiety, or frustration is the cause, we’ll teach you effective, positive techniques to reduce these behaviors and build your dog’s confidence. We’ll also focus on recognizing early signs of reactivity and how to redirect your dog’s focus in the moment. The goal is to create lasting changes, making everyday situations more manageable for you and your dog.

Class Highlights:

  • Recognizing Triggers: Learn to identify what sets off your dog’s reactivity.
  • Desensitization & Counter-Conditioning: Gradually expose your dog to triggers in a controlled way to build positive associations.
  • Real-Life Applications: Practice techniques in real-world scenarios.
  • Positive Reinforcement: Teach calm behavior through rewards and consistency.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of an assessment before class acceptance
