This class runs from June 29 - August 24

PLEASE NOTE: You must attend an assessment prior to class start to make sure this course is a safe fit for your pup. Assessments will be held with HAWS trainers and will take less than hour. You will receive an email to set up an assessment appointment upon application receipt. 

Reactive Rover

Are calm walks impossible, due to your dog barking/lunging at other dogs? This behavior, known as "reactivity" affects 1 in 3 dogs and their humans, and HAWS is here to help! Our brand-new Reactive Rover class will help you understand why and what triggers your dog, and how to counter reactive responses with humane, science-based, positive training so you can enjoy neighborhood walks again! This class will be taught at HAWS Schallock Center for Animals in Delafield in our indoor arena and outdoor, private dog park to give you and your pup plenty of space to work together to overcome reactivity! 

This class is appropriate for dogs 6 months and up. This class is primarily for dogs who display on-leash reactivity towards environmental triggers. Triggers that are predictable and identifiable (dogs, cars, bikes, etc), are perfect for this class. If your dog has reactivity towards humans, we are recommending Confident Canine class or one-on-one consultations. Total price for class: $250

Dogs must not have a bite history, or be high risk for redirected aggression on their owner.

Session length: 1 hour per class 

A front-clip harness is required.
