HAWS is offering their large arena during the cooler months to exercise dogs.  You might have a dog-reactive dog(s) that can use the space to play off leash without the worry of running into other dogs. You may have another family or two you want to set up a safe doggie playdate with (max of 6 dogs). Or, maybe you have a dog who isn't fond of the snow/ice.  Whatever your reason for renting the private space, our staff member and volunteers are excited to welcome you! 

From the East: Take I94-W to Exit 285 County Road C. Turn right/south on to C (away from downtown Delafied). You will pass Lapham Peak on the left and continue driving for 1.6 miles.  The Center driveway is the first drive after the school bus sign. From the West: Take WI-16 to County Road C, and head south. You will pass Lapham Peak on your left and continue driving for 1.6 miles. The Center driveway is the first drive after the school bus sign. From the South: From WI-18, turn onto the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive/County Road C. The Center driveway is the third driveway on your left. 

Bathrooms are conveniently located right next to the arena. The temperature in the arena remains at about 60 degrees; we recommend wearing layers so you can adjust to your comfort level. This rental is for dog play use of the arena only. We respectfully ask that you not venture to areas other than the arena (pastures, walking trails, etc.). All agility equipment is strictly off limits. Please try to keep your dog inside the ring as much as possible. If they do get out of the ring please bring them back into the ring instead of letting them wander. Thank you!

Please arrive on time and leave promptly at the end of your rental to ensure a smooth transition between timeslots. Encourage your dog to pee and poop outside before entering the arena. We will have cleaning supplies available for accidents. All accidents must be disposed of in an outside receptacle. For the safety of our staff and volunteers, no human-reactive dogs are allowed.

Please read and agree (right) to participate: As a participant in the HAWS Schallock Center for Animals Saturday Dog Play, I (we) agree to release the Humane Animal Welfare Society, its staff and volunteers, and any other involved individual(s) from any and all liability of any nature, specifically, but not limited to injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, including my own dog, and expressly assume the risk of damage or injury while on the grounds. I also assume full responsibility for my dog’s behavior and actions and understand that my dog must be under control at all times.
