HAWS Main Shelter - 701 Northview Road, Waukesha
Sunday, September 14 | 1-2pm

Dogs are always communicating—are you listening? This seminar is designed to teach you how to read and respond to your dog’s subtle (and not-so-subtle) signals. From tail wags to ear flicks, you’ll learn how body language reveals your dog’s emotions, intentions, and needs. Perfect for pet parents, trainers, or anyone who wants to strengthen their bond with dogs through better understanding and communication.
Class Highlights:
- Decoding the Signals: Learn the meaning behind common canine postures, facial expressions, tail movements, and more.
- Stress vs. Excitement: Understand how to spot early signs of discomfort, anxiety, or over-arousal—and how to respond appropriately.
- Building Trust Through Awareness: Use your new knowledge to prevent conflict, reduce fear-based behaviors, and create safer, more supportive interactions.
This seminar is for owners only no dogs.
