Basic Agility 1 at SCA

Agility is a great game to play with your dog and a “team” sport that you do together. It can help increase the bond and communication with your dog. In this class, you will learn handling skills without and then with agility obstacles. In addition, we will cover all agility jumps and tunnels. We will also introduce our first ‘contact’ obstacle, the table.

Note: Dogs must have a good recall cue along with either a good wait or stay cue. In addition, dogs must be able to be crated while not working with the handler and instructor.

Prerequisites: Completion of Basic Manners – Level 1 AND dog is at least 10 months old.
