Critter Club

A unique education and volunteer opportunity (that looks Paw-some on highschool and college applications) for kids in 6th-8th grade who have a passion to help and protect animals. Members will attend Thursday nights at HAWS and volunteer on the weekends on Saturday or Sunday (of choice) during the morning. Sessions run for an entire school semester.

Children interested in becoming a member must complete an initial application (located on this page to the right.) Once that is submitted, you will need to submit two recommendations from non-related adults (teachers, ministers, scout leaders, etc.) and write an essay about why pets are important to you within 72 hours. Upon approval (please allow 24-72 hours after submission for us to review), you will be emailed a private link to complete registration and payment ($180).

Thursday nights 6:00-7:30: 

Feburary- 8th, 15th, & 22nd

March- 7th, 14th, & 21st

April- 4th, 11th & 18th

Weekends (Saturday or Sunday) 9:00-11:00:

Feburary- 10th or 11th, 17th or 18th & 24th or 25th

March- 9th or 10th, 16th or 17th, & 23rd or 24th

April- 6th or 7th, 13th or 14th & 20th or 21st
