Goat Tales at SCA
Grades 1-5
This is an exciting new school-year program designed for children in grades 1-5! Join us weekly for a combined goat and guided reading time.
During each visit, your child will spend 20 minutes learning about the goats, then 40 minutes inside of our goat pasture for socialization and story time. Kids can practice their reading skills by either reading aloud solo to one of our four-legged friends, or they can practice reading in a group with an instructor-led story circle!

Build Reading Confidence: Practice reading aloud in a fun, supportive environment with a herd of judgement-free listeners.

Learn with the Goats: Each reading session is paired with a quick lesson about the goats. Topics include goat diets, special adaptations, how they socialize, and more!

Giggle with the Goats: Enjoy weekly (or one-off) social time with our five friendly goats.
Dates (Wednesdays- 4:30-5:30p): 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11
NOTE: This program is held primarily outdoors. In the case of bad weather, we will move inside of our semi-heated goat barn. Please dress accordingly!
