Paws & Popcorn
Grades 1-5
Join us for a fun-filled Friday night made just for kids! We’ll kick off the evening with a special animal encounter, where participants will meet a shelter pet, learn fascinating facts, and discover how to care for that animal. Afterward, we’ll settle in for a themed movie that connects to the animal they just met with popcorn, cheese pizza, and juice! Children are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring a pillow and/or blanket. However, if you forget your blanket, we have plenty you can borrow!
For February, we’re featuring Lady and the Tramp paired with a friendly shelter dog. It’s the perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy a child-free Valentine’s Day evening while their kids enjoy a memorable and educational night at HAWS!
Please note that the popcorn and pizza will contain common allergens like dairy and gluten. If your child has food allergies, please bring allergen free food for them.
