Crafts N Critters Camp

Do you have a child who loves animals, crafts, and being outside? Then this camp is perfect for them! Throughout this camp, we will have a guest instructor coming for a portion of each day to guide the kids through animal-themed crafts. The crafts the kids create will teach them about taking care of shelter animals so they can learn about how important this work is. The other portion of the day will be used to socialize with animals, play games, and learn about animals through fun activities!

Morning & Afternoon Care

Drop-off time for those without morning extended care is 8:45am or later. Extended care is available for an extra fee from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. You must register in advance for extended care.

A late fee of $1.00 per minute applies for late pickups (after 4:00pm without extended care or after 5:00pm with extended care.) Please help us to help you and sign up for extended care if you have any doubts about your ability to be on time. Also, please do not drop children off early unless they have been registered for morning extended care. We do not want them waiting alone outside.

HAWS Membership Discount

HAWS Members can receive a 12% discount off camp registration. Anyone who adopted an animal from HAWS (701 Northview Road in Waukesha) within the last year is a member (this does not apply to adoptions from other organizations).

Emergency Contact Information/Pick-up Permission

The safety of all our HAWS campers is a priority. For this reason, only adults over the age of 18 who are on your camper’s "Pick-up & Emergency Contact List" will be allowed to pick up your camper from HAWS. When you register your child, please list any adults who will be picking up your child on this list. If during the week you need to add pick-up permissions, you may do so by contacting us. We reserve the right to check ID of anyone picking up a camper to make sure that his or her name is on the pickup list.

As a rule, siblings will be grouped together. If you want them separated, please note at the time of registration.
