Horse Powered Reading:
Get a jump into the new school year with a fun-filled camp geared toward ages 7-9, where learning meets horses! Based on the nationally recognized Horse Powered Reading curriculum, campers will practice reading and math while interacting with horses. They'll work on reading skills like sounding out words and building stories, plus tackle math with games and activities! Plenty of hands-on horse time, learning safety, and story time with the goats. Plus enjoy riding opportunities with the HAWS Herd! A great way to prep for school with a twist of fun! For more info on Horse Powered Reading, go to www.horsepoweredreading.com.

Morning & Afternoon Care
Drop-off time for those without morning extended care is 8:45am or later. Extended care is available for an extra fee from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. You must register in advance for extended care.
A late fee of $1.00 per minute applies for late pickups (after 4:00pm without extended care or after 5:00pm with extended care.) Please help us to help you and sign up for extended care if you have any doubts about your ability to be on time. Also, please do not drop children off early unless they have been registered for morning extended care. We do not want them waiting alone outside.
Children Information
It is important to inform HAWS of any special needs; physical, medical, mental or emotional, that your child may have so that we can provide a successful HAWS experience. Failure to inform HAWS of any of these needs that are necessary to know when instructing your child may result in your child being unable to participate and a loss of program fees.

HAWS Members can receive a 12% discount off camp registration. Anyone who adopted an animal from HAWS (701 Northview Road in Waukesha) within the last year is a member (this does not apply to adoptions from other organizations).
