Youth Agility Camp (Saturday October 18 [10:30am to 3:30pm] and Sunday October 19 [1pm to 4pm])
Does your four-legged best friend know the basics like Sit and Stay, and you’d like to find out what else you can learn together? This one-of-a-kind camp is perfect for young dog lovers who want to learn how to train and run agility courses with their four-legged best friend. Designed for youth ages 10–14, this camp focuses on teamwork, communication, and hands-on agility training that’s fun and accessible for all breeds and skill levels. Whether your dog is a seasoned jumper or just starting out, this camp is all about learning new skills, strengthening the bond between handler and dog, and having a great time every step of the way!
Class Highlights:
- Agility Course Basics – Learn how to safely guide dogs through key obstacles like jumps, tunnels, and pause tables.
- Handler-Dog Communication – Improve timing, body language, and voice cues to work as an effective team.
- Fun Games & Challenges – Bond through group activities designed to boost confidence and build the bond between youth handlers and their family dogs.
- Tricks & Positive Reinforcement – Teach your pup new tricks and behaviors using proven, reward-based methods.
Prerequisite: Dogs must be 10 months or older
HAWS Parent Agreement

Emergency Contact Information/Pick-up Permission
The safety of all our HAWS campers is a priority. For this reason, only adults over the age of 18 who are on your camper’s "Pick-up & Emergency Contact List" will be allowed to pick up your camper from HAWS. When you register your child, please list any adults who will be picking up your child on this list. If during the week you need to add pick-up permissions, you may do so by contacting us. We reserve the right to check ID of anyone picking up a camper to make sure that his or her name is on the pickup list.
Child Information
It is important to inform HAWS of any special needs; physical, medical, mental or emotional, that your child may have so that we can provide a successful HAWS experience. Failure to inform HAWS of any of these needs that are necessary to know when instructing your child may result in your child being unable to participate and a loss of program fees.
